Ingredients:
600g of fresh strawberries
Strawberry jam
250ml of gin
Prosecco
You will also need the following items:
Muslin cloth
Strainer
The instructions are as follows:
Hull the strawberries
Cut the strawberries in half
Add the strawberries and a heaped tablespoon of jam to a pot
Turn the heat on and bring the pot to a low simmer, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes
Turn the heat off on the pot
Add your gin
Strain the mixture through a muslin cloth and strainer into a container, working the mixture to the bottom of the cloth to ensure you’ve got everything out you can
Leave the mix to chill, refrigerating after
Once ready to serve, take a tablespoon (or two) into a champagne flute glass
Top up with prosecco
And enjoy!
